2019 European Conference on Computing in Construction

We cordially invite you to the 2019 European Conference of Computing in Construction (2019 EC³). The 2019 EC³ conference will take place in Chania, Crete, Greece, on July 10-12, 2019. EC³ is the premier European Conference for information, communication and technological research, innovation and policy for the Construction Sector as a whole in Europe. It is the biennial meeting organised by the European Council for Computing in Construction, with the purpose of bringing together researchers, practitioners and construction industry professionals from around Europe to meet and share information about the latest developments in all aspects related to computing in construction. The EC³ conference aspires to establish an active dialogue on the challenges in the field of Computing in Construction and provide a forum to present the latest advances in research and professional practice on this domain.

Call for Papers

We welcome submissions from academia and industry on all areas of Computing in the broader Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Facilities Management (AEC/FM) industry. Similar to computer science conferences, EC³ has a single submission and peer-review stage (i.e. short abstract submission is optional), with re-reviews only when requested by the reviewers.


Abstract submission is optional; the peer review process will be focused on the full paper.



Conference Location

The 2019 EC³ will take place in Platanias at the Minoa Palace Resort, 12km west of the city of Chania and the Old Venetian Harbour.
