Abstract: The contemporary focus on sustainability and specifically on circularity, places new roles, requirements, and responsibilities on AEC professionals. From an educational perspective, this could be addressed by adding circularity concepts for instance into design, modelling, and analysis courses. However, circularity offers more than this; it provides a lens to re-think education in the AEC. Traditional courses wherein student work is assessed and discarded; are linear. This paper proposes a Circular Education System that reuses student work from one course as future input for itself and other courses. This concept is presented here at a learning objective, course, and program level.
