Conference Venue & Accommodation

Makedonia Palace

Thessaloniki, Greece

The 2027 EC³ & CIB W78 Conference will be held at the Makedonia Palace in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 11-14 July 2027.

Often described as the most iconic hotel in Thessaloniki, the Makedonia Palace sits right on the city’s seafront, with sweeping views across the Thermaic Gulf. Since its grand opening in 1971, it has been a landmark of Thessaloniki’s waterfront, and following a complete renovation in 2017 it combines its long heritage of hosting major events with modern conference facilities.

The hotel is set on the city’s seafront promenade, around a 10-minute walk from the city centre, putting delegates within easy reach of Thessaloniki’s museums, Byzantine monuments, restaurants and nightlife.
