Abstract: The construction industry is undergoing a transformative shift in project management, driven by the integration of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Industry 4.0. BIM is pivotal in modern construction project management, prompting Slovenian universities to adapt civil engineering curricula for crucial digital skill acquisition. This paper details the teaching experience of BIM and advanced technologies, outlining subject objectives, competences, methods, and outcomes. It emphasizes cutting-edge training, focusing on BIM-based and Industry 4.0 courses. Integrating advanced methods into civil engineering education ensures graduates are well-equipped with the digital skills essential for future careers.
