Integrated web-based retrofitting services for onsite process management

Abstract: To meet the EU energy-saving and decarbonisation goals, the need for automated processes for building renovation increases. This paper demonstrates the development of the RINNO Retrofitting Manager (RRM) with web service technologies and presents its functionalities. The main purpose of this platform is to rationalise the onsite execution of the retrofitting process so as to enable optimising the delivery of renovation works. The RRM was co-developed as a holistic web-based platform using a collaborative approach. The proposed platform is expected to enhance collaboration, interoperability and data security, and avoid information loss and misunderstanding.
