Implementation of lean construction in Finland

Abstract: Implementation of Lean Construction (LC) can result inprofound operational transitions in companies.The paper explores how different-sized companies inFinland, are approaching the Lean transition: whichproblems they have solved, and their current priorities.The objective is to increase the level of understanding ofthe LC implementation in Finland, following the latestpublications in the field. The gained results providestarting points for future studies on LC Implementationand can increase future opportunities for Lean managersto be more involved in all levels of the constructionprocess.Data collection comes from Qualitative Analysis of semistructuredinterviews with collaborative visualization.
