Abstract: Passivhaus has been gradually adopted worldwide as the main voluntary building performance standard. However, in the UK, the value of Passivhaus has not been fully realised. This paper presents the research results in the UK through the lens of residents occupying Passivhaus homes, particularly perceptions from end-users living in large-scale developments. Through a series of post-occupancy evaluations, data analysis was carried out on thermal comfort and perceived impact on health. Results indicated that all surveyed developments were perceived to be very comfortable during all seasons. The study concludes with a proposed post-occupancy evaluation model achieved through BIM and intelligent relationships.
