Abstract: Ontologies are essential for formalizing information and knowledge in the construction sector, yet their current implementations often fail to address the specific needs of industrialized construction (IC) and their integration with organizational insights. This paper addresses this gap by introducing the Project Production Management Ontology (PPM), designed to systematically represent organizational expertise for managing standardized house products and construction workflows in IC. The PPM ontology improves knowledge and information management across the value chain. The PPM holds particular value for researchers, construction firms, and practitioners in industrialized construction, as it enhances knowledge reuse in supporting lean construction practices.
