Abstract: This paper investigates how Italian Green Public Procurement CAM and EPD requirements can be encoded and automatically validated using IFC models. CAM clauses are mapped to IFC semantics and formalized with a bSDD template. Second, checkable constraints were implemented in IDS, extended through orchestration to support dependency-like validation. Third, IfcPatch recipes were used to repair and enrich exported models (e.g., linking named properties to document/classification references). Because some CAM clauses exceed IDS expressivity, a Gherkin-style Python validation layer was added for computational and graph-level checks. Manual IFC test cases demonstrate feasibility, maintainability, and complexity tradeoffs.
